Wheel You Die?
A downloadable game for Windows
This game was made for the Juniper Dev Jam 2026 in under 7 days!
100% of art and code was human made (by me).
(Mostly custom for the project, a few things were snatched from WIP projects.)
The theme was "Spin to Win".
This was a solo project by Timothe Lafond.
Story
With a war raging on between Factions of Chance, it is up to you, a frontline operative of the Wheel Faction and the pilot of a spinning time machine mech of mass destruction, to save this reality from the encroaching mechanical forces of D.I.C.E.
Charge up Snowflake (your mech), by maintaining your rotational velocity at all costs. Bash into your surroundings and constructed enemies to trigger their effects as well as those from your installed modules. Obtain modules and currency to upgrade, iterate and buy your way to the loadout that will lead you to victory!
Still want more after saving the world? Grind for a high score in Endless mode!
All progress is saved.
Controls
WASD (Hold) - Charge Lunge
